Australia's Best Heavy Duty shear
4500EFI shear is designed to be installed into 14-20 t. excavators. With the head you can use your excavator for cleaning up roadsides, field sides and other demanding energy wood locations.
Large opening, compact structure and powerful shear makes this head efficient even in the most demanding locations.
SAFE TREE HANDLING
The operating logic of the head is build around the hydraulic block. Once you press the head closed, the grapples first move towards closing. As the pressure increases, the cutting blades begin closing. When the tree has been cut, you press open-button. Blades open first completely, and after that the grapple jaws. If the head has been upgraded with collecting unit, collecting will take place automatically after the cut. The operating logic ensures safe handling of trees. Grapple jaws always have strong grip on the tree, which ensures that the tree won't fall down uncontrollably.
