Why there might be zinc oversupply in the coming years

BMI – a unit of market analyst Fitch Solutions – has revised up the price forecast for zinc in 2024 from $US2300 per tonne to $US2500 per tonne due to higher base effects. Despite the bump in value, prices are expected to drop to multi-year lows due to an oversupply in the market.
